Peter Lawson 
Peter was born about 1760 in , Bedford, Virginia. Peter's father was Bartholomew Lawson and his mother was Susannah Simkins. His paternal grandparents were William Lawson and Isabel Kenney; his maternal grandparents were John Simkins and Elizabeth French. He had ten brothers named Moorman, David, Randolph, William, John, Elisha, Philip, Bartholomew, Jacob and Reuben. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died in August 1834.-
