David Lawson 
David was born about 1753 in Of Bedford Co., VA. David's father was Bartholomew Lawson and his mother was Susannah Simkins. His paternal grandparents were William Lawson and Isabel Kenney; his maternal grandparents were John Simkins and Elizabeth French. He had ten brothers named Moorman, Randolph, William, John, Elisha, Peter, Philip, Bartholomew, Jacob and Reuben. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died on March 1st, 1852 in Hawkins Co., TN.-
