Levi was born on April 15th, 1856 in MO. Levi's father was Joseph ENGLE and his mother was Sylvania "Lavina" COFFELT . His maternal grandparents were James Henry COFFELT and Agnes UNKNOWN. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Henry Jason , John Phillip , Jesse Dowess, Ulysses Grant, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Josephine, Louisa Jane, Sarah Isabel, Twin Infant and Twin Infant . He was the second oldest of the twelve children.-
