George Hennis 
George was born on February 25th, 1856 in Harrisville, Harrison Co, Ohio. George's father was Samuel Hennis and his mother was Matilda Swallow. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Hennis and Catherine Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Unknown Swallow and Mary Hart. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John W., Franklin S. (Frank), Parks, Morland St. Clair, Max, Rebecca, Mary Elisabeth, Jane, Emma (Aimy), Susan (Susie) and Ross Etta. He died at the age of 69 on September 20th, 1925.General Notes
According to the 1880 census, George was 24, a farm laborer, single, and living with his parents in Short Creek, Harrison Co, Ohio. George Married Martha Mercer in 1884.
