Lewis Criss 
Lewis was born in 1809 in Monongalia County, VA. Lewis' father was Moses Criss and his mother was Charity Sharp. His paternal grandparents were Lewis Criss and Christina Clouster; his maternal grandparents were Aaron J. Sharp and Elizabeth Sarah Ashcraft. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John T, Michael Kesney, Moses S, Noah, William, Aaron, Elizabeth R., Barbara, Christina Barbara, Sarah and Mary Ann. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 80 on December 2nd, 1889 in Braxton, WV.-
