Aaron Criss 
Aaron was born in 1831 in Monongalia County, VA. Aaron's father was Moses Criss and his mother was Charity Sharp. His paternal grandparents were Lewis Criss and Christina Clouster; his maternal grandparents were Aaron J. Sharp and Elizabeth Sarah Ashcraft. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Lewis, John T, Michael Kesney, Moses S, Noah, William, Elizabeth R., Barbara, Christina Barbara, Sarah and Mary Ann. He was the second youngest of the twelve children.-
