John William Criss 
John William was born on October 3rd, 1835. John William's father was Lewis Criss and his mother was Sarah Sharp. His paternal grandparents were Moses Criss and Charity Sharp; his maternal grandparents were John D. Sharp and Barbara Criss. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Francis Marion, Peter, Benjamin Franklin, Dennis H., Helen, Mary Angeline, Elizabeth Jane, Ruemma, Eleanor Jane and Romonza E.. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on July 5th, 1910.General Notes
