Francis Marion Criss 
Francis Marion was born in 1832. Francis Marion's father was Lewis Criss and his mother was Sarah Sharp. His paternal grandparents were Moses Criss and Charity Sharp; his maternal grandparents were John D. Sharp and Barbara Criss. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John William, Peter, Benjamin Franklin, Dennis H., Helen, Mary Angeline, Elizabeth Jane, Ruemma, Eleanor Jane and Romonza E.. He was the oldest of the eleven children.-
