Annie was born on October 26th, 1858 in Symsonia, Graves County, Kentucky.1 Annie's father was Robert Sidney Young and her mother was Sarah Jane Fletcher. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Young and Dorcas Burnett; her maternal grandparents were John Wesley Fletcher and Sarah Lamb. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, William Richard, Robert Lee, John Sidney, Mary Ellen, Sarah Joana, Katherine Orlene, Nora Hettie and Myra Ethel. She died at the age of 86 on June 12th, 1945 in Austin, Travis County, Texas. She was buried in In a church cemetery, Driftwood, Hays County, Texas.1 1 General Notes
