Robert Sidney was born on March 3rd, 1839 in Lunenburg, Lunenburg County, Virginia.1   Robert Sidney's father was Thomas Young and his mother was Dorcas Burnett. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John Walter, Lafayette, Richard Septimus, Diana Landrum and Martha Jane.  He died at the age of 84 in January 1924 in Travis County, Texas.  He was buried in Oliver Cemetery, Travis County, Texas.1 1
