Roy was born on August 13th, 1908 in Mason County, WV.1 Roy's father was William Alexander King and his mother was Ella Florence King. His maternal grandparents were Ephriam King and Susan Hughes. He had six brothers and a sister, named George Leonard, Harry Londas, Arthur Laban, Walter Lee, Okey Lester, Charles Luther and Ladora Lakotah. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 in July 1984 in Sparr, FL. He was buried in Last residence: FL 32690.1 1 General Notes
