Charles Luther was born on August 6th, 1902 in Mason County, WV.1 Charles Luther's father was William Alexander King and his mother was Ella Florence King. His maternal grandparents were Ephriam King and Susan Hughes. He had six brothers and a sister, named George Leonard, Harry Londas, Arthur Laban, Walter Lee, Okey Lester, Roy and Ladora Lakotah. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died in Mason County, WV.1 General Notes

It is said that Okey went to work in Ohio at the age of eleven and
returnd with typhod fever. Charles i s said to have contracted the fever
and to have died.
