Arthur Laban was born on March 10th, 1895 in Mason County, West Virginia.1 Arthur Laban's father was William Alexander King and his mother was Ella Florence King. His maternal grandparents were Ephriam King and Susan Hughes. He had six brothers and a sister, named George Leonard, Harry Londas, Walter Lee, Okey Lester, Charles Luther, Roy and Ladora Lakotah. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 86 in November 1981 in Nitro, WV. He was buried in State of issue: WV.1 1 General Notes
