William Alexander Crawford 
William Alexander was born on June 17th, 1816 in Lincoln County, Tennessee.1 William Alexander's father was William Crawford and his mother was Rachael Titus. His paternal grandparents were William Crawford and Rachel Sawyers; his maternal grandparents were Ebenezer Titus and Rachel Matthews. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Titus C, John James, Rebecca, Evaline, Rachel Sawyers, Nancy, Phoebe Titus, Elizabeth Ann and Sally Sellers. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Joseph Warren, George Gibson, Margaret Ann and Marietta Francis. He died at the age of 67 on June 29th, 1883 in Henry County, Tennessee. He was buried in Shiloh C P Church Cemetery, Henry County, Tennessee.1 1 General Notes
