Edmund Read 
Edmund was born on October 20th, 1789 in Brushy Forest, Charlotte Co., Va. Edmund's father was Colonel Jonathan Read and his mother was Jane Lewis. His paternal grandparents were Col. Clement Reade and Mary Hill; his maternal grandparents were John Lewis and UNKNOWN Jane. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Isaac, John Lewis, Thomas Hill, Howell Lewis, Charles Lewis, Charles, Mildred Howell, Mary Howell, Margaret Howell and Elizabeth Warner. He died at the age of 4 on October 20th, 1793 in Charlotte Co., Va.-
