William Stewart Hottel 
William Stewart was born on November 20th, 1876 in Clear Springs, Jackson County, Indiana.1 William Stewart's father was Craven Lynn Hottel and his mother was Martha Ella Stewart. His paternal grandparents were Peter Hottel and Lenora Westfall . He had a brother and a sister, named Lynn Scribner and Lora Ella. He was the second oldest of the three children.
