David Pitman Hottel 
David Pitman was born on February 27th, 1837 in near Corydon, Harrison County, Indiana. David Pitman's father was Peter Hottel and his mother was Elizabeth Pitman. His paternal grandparents were John Conrad Hottel and Barbara Funkhouser; his maternal grandparents were David Pitman and Mary Ann Aucherman. He had two brothers and a sister, named Conrad Andrew, Levi Pitman and Mary. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Craven Lynn, James and Emma Lenora. He died at the age of 89 on April 7th, 1926.-
