Pursus Calhoun Hooker 
Pursus Calhoun was born on October 30th, 1843 in Tennessee. Pursus Calhoun's father was Jonathan Frizelle Hooker and his mother was Margaret Gwynn. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Hooker and Ann Frizzelle. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Hugh G., Robert W., Johnathan W., William A., Benjamin P., James M., Ranson D., Sarah Ann, Margaret and Mary Elizabeth. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 72 on May 12th, 1916 in Probably Tennessee.General Notes
