Benjamin P. was born about 1837 in Wilson County, Tennessee. Benjamin P.'s father was Jonathan Frizelle Hooker and his mother was Margaret Gwynn. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Hooker and Ann Frizzelle. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Hugh G., Robert W., Johnathan W., William A., Pursus Calhoun, James M., Ranson D., Sarah Ann, Margaret and Mary Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died on July 2nd, 1926 in Logan County, Kentucky.General Notes

I saw a few days ago a notice of the death of B. Hooker Hancock who I suppose was your brother and as I haven't heard anything from the family in a number of years I would be glad if you would answer this and tell me how many of your brothers & sisters are still living etc
I am now in this town where I have always lived since I came to Kentucky. I will send this notice to my sister Mary who lives in Wilson Co. Tenn. so that she may know of Cousin Hooker's death. If I hear from this I will write more in regard to our family.
