William New Hancock 
William New was born in 1763 in Bute County, North Carolina. William New's father was Samuel Hancock and his mother was Mildred Dawson. He had five brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Martin, Samuel, John, Dawson, Simon, Sarah, Mildred and Molly. He died in Georgia.
