James Carraway 
James was born in 1679 in Princess Anne, Virginia. James' father was John Carraway and his mother was Ann Kemp. His paternal grandparents were John Carraway and Ann Foster; his maternal grandparents were James George Kemp and Mary Anne Lovett. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Richard, William, Thomas, Dinah, Ann and Elizabeth Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 83 in 1762 in Princess Anne, Virginia.-
