Harvey Whitney 
Harvey was born on November 24th, 1795 in Darien, CT.1 Harvey's father was Henry Whitney and his mother was Prudence Grey. His paternal grandparents were Eliasaph Whitney and Mary Bishop. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Platt, William Henry, James, Alfred Eliasaph, John, George, Richard Lewis, Nancy, Sally, Louisa and Betsy Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.-
