Silas Hatch Strong 
Silas Hatch was born on December 13th, 1836 in Candor, Tioga, NY. Silas Hatch's father was Beriah Strong and his mother was Elizabeth Hatch. His paternal grandparents were Joel Strong and Amelia Curtis; his maternal grandparents were Ebenezer Hatch and Hannah Strong. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Lewis George, Hebron, Solomon Taylor, Isaac Brunson, Curtis B, Orin, Ruby Jane and Hannah Amelia. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 42 on December 2nd, 1879.-
