James Allen 
James was born in 1636 in Braintree, Norfolk, MA.1 James' father was Samuel Allen and his mother was Ann Whitmore. His paternal grandparents were George Allen and Katherine Unknown; his maternal grandfather was John Whitmore. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Nehemiah, Mary and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Abigail. He died at the age of 78 on July 23rd, 1714 in Chilmark, Dukes, MA.1 -
