Samuel was born on November 18th, 1652 in Windsor, Hartford, CT. Samuel's father was Ambrose Fowler and his mother was Joanna Alvord. His paternal grandparents were William Fowler and Sarah Neeld; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Alford and Joanna Hawkins. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Ambrose, Mary, Hannah, Elizabeth and Abigail. He died about 1739 in CT.-
