Josiah Strong 
Josiah was born on August 17th, 1705 in Northampton, Hampshire, MA. Josiah's father was Samuel S Strong and his mother was Ruth Sheldon. His paternal grandparents were John Strong and Abigail Ford; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Sheldon and Mary Woodford. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Samuel and Mary. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Ezra, Christian, Nehemiah, Samuel, Esther, Abigail, Abigail and Susannah. He died at the age of 55 on February 3rd, 1761 in Sharon, Litchfield, CT. He was buried in Boland Cemetery.-
