William Schoonover 
William was born in 1841. William's father was Gilbert Schoonover and his mother was Jane Shoemaker. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, Thomas, Robert, Catherine, Julia, Levina, Amanda and Lorin. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
