Ardie Province 
Ardie was born in 1846 in Parkersburg, WV.1 Ardie's father was John William Province and his mother was Lucretia Arnett. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Province and Cecelia Spencer; his maternal grandparents were Levi Arnett and Barbara Stevens. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William G, Lewis Franklin, Phillip W, Susan and Sarah. He was the oldest of the six children.-
