John Pearce

John was born on September 8th, 1647 in Waltham Abbey, Essex, England and his baptism took place there on September 8th, 1647.¹² John's father was Richard Pearce and his mother was Susannah Wright. His paternal grandparents were Richard Pearse and Martha Pearce; his maternal grandfather was George Wright. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Nehemiah, Richard, Giles, Jeremiah, Isaac, William, George, Samuel, Martha, Susannah and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 60 on December 5th, 1707 in Tiverton, Newport Co., Ri. He was buried in December 1707.²¹
