Richard Mather 
Richard was born in 1653.1 Richard's father was Timothy Mather and his mother was Catherine Atherton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Katherine Hoult; his maternal grandparents were Humphrey Atherton and Mary Wales. He had four brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Nathaniel, Joseph, Atherton and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
