Joseph Mather 
Joseph was born in 1661.1 Joseph's father was Timothy Mather and his mother was Catherine Atherton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Katherine Hoult; his maternal grandparents were Humphrey Atherton and Mary Wales. He had four brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Richard, Nathaniel, Atherton and Catherine. He was the second youngest of the six children.-
