Alan la Zouche was born in 1203 in of Molton, Devon.1 Alan la Zouche's father was Roger la Zouche and his mother was Margaret Beaumont. His paternal grandparents were Alan la Zouche Earl of Brittany and Alice de Belmeis. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Loretta (Lora). He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 67 on August 12th, 1270 in Westminster Hall, London, England.-
