Roger la Zouche 
Roger was born about 1175 in of Molton, Devon.1 Roger's father was Alan la Zouche Earl of Brittany and his mother was Alice de Belmeis. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey Vct de Porhoët and Hawise Fergan; his maternal grandparents were Philip de Belmeis Lord Ashby & Tong and Maud le Meschines. He was an only child. He died about May 14th, 1238 in Maple Durham, Southampton, England.1 General Notes

No parents for Margaret here. For Roger's parents I have Alan Ceoche/la Coche (a.k.a. la Zouche), d. 1190, and Alice, d/o Philip de Belmeis and Maude de Meschines/le Meschin (d/o William le Meschin). And there appears to be a line here going back some nine additional generations to Fulk the Red, Count of Anjou (d. 942).
