Alan la Zouche was born about 1136 in of Harringworth, Northamptonshire, England.1 Alan la Zouche's father was Geoffrey Vct de Porhoët and his mother was Hawise Fergan. His paternal grandparents were Eudon Vct de Porhoët & Rennes and Anne de León; his maternal grandparents were Alan IV Fergent Duc de Brittany and Ermengard de Anjou. He was an only child. He died in 1190 in North Melton, Devon, England.1 -
