Geoffrey was born about 1086 in of Porhoët, France.1 Geoffrey's father was Eudon Vct de Porhoët & Rennes and his mother was Anne de León. His paternal grandfather was Josselin de Bretagne Vct de Rennes. He was an only child. He died in 1141.1
