William de Braose VII's father was William de Braose VI Marq de Montferrat and his mother was Isabel de Clare. His paternal grandparents were John de Braose Tadody Lord Gower & Swansea and Margred Drwyndon verch Llywelyn Fawr; his maternal grandparents were Richard de Clare Earl of Gloucester & Hertford and Maude de Lacy Cts de Lincoln. He was an only child. He died on May 1st, 1326.1 -
