James Deane 
James was born in 1648. James' father was Walter Deane and his mother was Eleanor Cogan. His paternal grandparents were William Deane and Isobel Downe; his maternal grandparents were William Coganz and z. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ezra, Benjamin, Joseph, Mary and Lydia. He died at the age of 77 on May 29th, 1725 in Plainfield, Windham, CT.-
