Raimund VI Berenger was born in 1198 in Aix-en-Provence, Bouches-Du-Rhone, France.1 Raimund VI Berenger's father was Alphonso II "El Casto" Ct de Provence and his mother was Gersinde de Sabran Cts de Forcalquier. His paternal grandparents were Alfonso II the Chaste de Aragón King of Aragón and Sancha Alfonsez de Castile; his maternal grandparents were Raimond de Sabran Prince of Marseilles and Gersinde de Forcalquier Cts de Forcalquier. He was an only child. He died at the age of 47 on August 19th, 1245 in Aix-en-Provence, Bouches-Du-Rhone, France.1 -
