Phoebe Casto 
Phoebe was born in 1818 in , Upshur, WV.1 Phoebe's father was George Casto and her mother was Sarah Aurs. Her paternal grandparents were David Casto and Margaret Elizabeth Province. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John G, George, Nicholas, David G, James Cunningham, Joel, Mary Magdalene, Sarah, Elizabeth, Louisa and Matilda. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Abram G and Margaret. She died at the age of 59 in 1877 in , Jackson, WV.1 -
