Joel Casto 
Joel was born in 1834 in , Jackson, WV.1 Joel's father was George Casto and his mother was Sarah Aurs. His paternal grandparents were David Casto and Margaret Elizabeth Province. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John G, George, Nicholas, David G, James Cunningham, Mary Magdalene, Phoebe, Sarah, Elizabeth, Louisa and Matilda. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Abram G and Margaret. He died at the age of 53 in 1887 in , Jackson, WV.1 -
