Phebe Cary 
Phebe was born in 1721 in Windham, Windham, CT.1 Phebe's father was John Cary and her mother was Hannah Thurston. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Cary and Mercy Bushnell; her maternal grandparents were John Thurston and Hannah Cary. She had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Benajah, Joseph, William, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Samuel and Mercy. She was the third oldest of the nine children.-
