Benajah Cary 
Benajah was born in 1719 in Scotland, Windham, CT.1 Benajah's father was John Cary and his mother was Hannah Thurston. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Cary and Mercy Bushnell; his maternal grandparents were John Thurston and Hannah Cary. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, William, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Samuel, Phebe and Mercy. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 54 in 1773 in Windham, Windham, CT.1 -
