Humphrey de Bohun, Baron of Kington, co. Hereford, lord of hal f the barony of Trowbridge, co. Wilts, Earl of Hereford and Esse x, Hereditary Constaable of England, son and heir of Humphrey d e Bohun, Baron of Pleshy, Essex, Baron of Kington, co. Hereford , Earl of Hereford and Essex, Hereditary Constable of England.

Served in Scotland and was present at the siege of Carlaverock o n 1 July 1300. He fought at Bannockburn, and was taken prisone r at Bothwell. He was exchanged for Elizabeth de Burgh, wife o f Robert de Bruce, King of Scotland.

Joined the rebellion against King Edward II, and was slain in ba ttle at Boroughbridge.
