Judith of Lens (130-25, 148-23), niece of William the Conqueror , living 1086; m. 1070 Waltheof II, beheaded Winchester, 31 Ma y 1076, Earl of Huntingdon, Northampton and Northumberland, so n of Sigurd, Earl of Northumberland, by his wife, Aelfled, daugh ter of Aldred of Bernicia.
Judith of Lens: though generally shown as a child of Adelaide an d (2) Lambert of Lens, there is a possibility that she was a chi ld of Adelaide's first marriage to Enguerrand II of Ponthieu.
As per Doug Richardson: "Some poeple have tried to make Judith t he daughter of her mother's first marriage to Enguerrand, Coun t of Ponthieu. However in an ancient cartulary concerning the Sc ottish royal family Judith is specifically called the daughter o f Lambert of Lens."[MARSHALL.FTW]
