Richard de Clare 
Richard was born in 1162 in Kent, England.1 Richard's father was Roger De Clare and his mother was Matilda de St. Hilary du Harcourt. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Clare and Adeliza de Meschines; his maternal grandparents were James de St. Hilary and Aveline (de St. Hillary). He had a sister named Aveline. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Richard, William de Albini, Richard FitzRoger de Clare, William and Aveline. He died about November 28th, 1217.1 General Notes
