William Elton Summer 
William Elton's father was Joseph Pinkney Summer and his mother was Mary C. Huffman. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Sebastian Huffman and Mary Elizabeth Summer. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named James C., John, Homer Huffman, Joseph Thomas, LeRoy Efird, Claude Pinkney, Frank Glymph, Lilly Ioler (Ola), Mudge, Bessie Alleath and Sara Elizabeth.-
