1 Jennings' father was Olin Slice and his mother was Decia Iola Boland. His maternal grandparents were Patrick Boland and Claton Alice Bowers. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Walter Patrick, Julius Rett, Frank, John, John Adam, Eva, Mabel, Mildred, Ola Mae, Pearl, Polly and Polly Ann.-
