He had seven brothers and nine sisters, named William Charlton, Walter, Luther, George Michael, Mike, Wesley, Charlie, Elizabeth Christine, Mary Ann Magdaline, Mary Ann Magdaline, Jane, Elvie Frances, Mary Ann, Jane, Betty and Frances. He died at the age of 2 on September 22nd, 1856 in Near Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.
