Edgar Lafayette Shealy 
Edgar Lafayette was born about 1895 in Near Chapin, South Carolina.1 Edgar Lafayette's father was Westley Killian Shealy and his mother was Agnes Wessinger. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Shealy and Sallie Ballentine. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Daniel Hoyt, Horace Westley, Curtis Melton, Allie, Ethel Elberta, Ella Ruth, Mary Agnes, Janie Elizabeth, Mildred Wessinger and Julia Mae. He was the third oldest of the eleven children.-
