Mary Elizabeth was born on June 18th, 1801 in Between Chapin & Lt. Mountain, Lexington Co, SC.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and her mother was Nancy Shirer. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Sease and Susannah Anhaus. She had four brothers and six sisters, named John Frederick, John C., Martin, Henry, Eva Christina, Ann Catharine (Katie), Unknown Female #1, Unknown Female #2, Barbara and Eva Margaret. She died at the age of 87 on March 14th, 1889 in Itawamba County, Mississippi. She was buried in New Chapel Cemetery, Itawamba County, Mississippi.1 1 -
